After a long wait of the Champions league due to the play off stages, finally the draw is out. The draw has been done at 12:00 CET. The 2024/2025 round of 16 champions league draw is out. The teams also discovered their opponents for quarter-finals and semi-finals after the round of 16. The draw which was held in Friday, February 21, 2025, contenders learned their route to Munich from round of 16, quarter-finals and semi-finals.
All the eight ties of the Champions league of the 2024/2025 are set following the Fridays draw.

The first legs will be conducted on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 and Wednesday, March 5, 2025. Here are the teams for the first leg on Tuesday and Wednesday 4th and 5th March 2025.

How the teams / Ties was paired in the round of 16?
Pairing was based of the league face positions for example position 1 and 2, 3 and 4 and 5 and 6 and 7 and 8 all in the same pots to form a four sided pairs.
Each sided pair were drawn into the two positions as a result of the round of 16 against the winner of the play-off. Balls containing the names of each sided teams were placed in four bowls corresponding to the position of the league rank. The draw started with the teams that finished 7/8 and end with those who finished 1/2. Every ball was retrieved from the bowl and opened to display the opponent paired to.
The draw started by shuffling and drawing the balls placed in the bowls. The first ball retrieved shows the team that will play first match at home of the quarter-finals. The process was carried out with all the sided teams. In the obvious rule, the sided clubs play the reverse fixtures at home grounds.
The draw was done to determine the order of matches, like who will face who. All the opponents to be known until the finals in Munich 31 May 2025.
